Your Online Security is Important to us
Keeping your personal data secure when using the Online Banking System is our first priority. We therefore always comply with the latest security standards: a Firewall prevents unauthorized external access to data in our systems, while a multi-level encryption and identification system ensures that unauthorized persons cannot enquire about your data nor receive it nor make it readable
This keeps information stored in our systems protected from unauthorised access.
When submitting personal data on the internet via the Online Banking System, your data is encrypted by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer). This encryption is identifiable because an ‘s’ is added to the ‘http’ of the internet address. The security certificate is a Symantec/Norton (formerly Verisign) Secure Site Pro Certificate with Extended Validation as well as regular Malware and vulnerability scanner.
If we submit data to partner banks on your behalf (e.g., for opening an account), this data is always encrypted with 2048 Bit PGP.
The PIN (Personal Identification Number) is your virtual key for accessing the Online Banking System of the bank. It is sufficient to enter the account number at Raisin Bank as well as the 6 to 16 digit PIN. The PIN does not authorize banking transactions such as transfers or deposit investments. The PIN only allows you to view account statements and the payments and transfers already made.
A mobile TAN (mTANs) will required to authorize financial transactions in the Raisin Online Banking System. When you initiate a transaction, a mobile TAN is generated and sent to your mobile phone by SMS
After 15 minutes of inactivity you will be automatically logged out of the Online Banking System. The time remaining until automatic logout is displayed on every page. If you then wish to proceed further with the Online Banking System, you simply have to log in again.
When opening an account, you will provide a reference account. Retransfer of funds can only be made to this account. The reference account can only be changed in writing and with your signature.
You can find your mailbox in the secure Online Banking System. Your personal mailbox stores all electronic information you receive from Raisin or Raisin Bank. Raisin Bank will not send security-related information to your personal email address, only to your personal mailbox as this entirely secure. This guarantees that only you have access and that communication cannot be accessed by third parties, since messages to and from the mailbox are encrypted. You will receive an email to your private address when there are new messages in your mailbox.

- Be very careful when accessing internet pages whose address begins with an IP number rather than a domain name (e.g., http://1232.456.789/…) or whose address contains Raisin only as a sub-domain (e.g., http://www.raisin.domainname.com/…) or contains a variation of Raisin’s name or other spelling variations (e.g., http://www.raisin-site.net/…)!
- Where possible, do not log in to the Online Banking System using a computer not belonging to you (e.g., at an internet café).
